In this video, SEIB Insurance Brokers team up with Equestrian content creator Riding with Rhi to take a trip to Somerset to meet the owners of one of England’s most sustainable DIY Livery Yards.

Robert and Julia Banwell have been running Mill Farm DIY Livery Yard since 2013 and having built the business up from a bare plot of land, and have seen their development of the business and facilities go from strength to strength. Robert and Julia, winners of the SEIB Yard of the ‘Year Awards ‘Best DIY Yard’ for the last two years, take us on a tour through their beautiful DIY Livery Yard in Wedmore, sharing over 10 years of sustainable tips to help keep your yard running profitably and in the green.
From yard lighting and reducing electric consumption on the yard, to reducing hay waste and dealing with recycling and waste not only can help cut costs but also makes the business more environmentally friendly, as well as making life easier for the liveries.
